Firstly, the upstairs of our home used to get ridiculously cold at night. Since we installed our Fireplace Draftstopper, my family members and I are not nearly as cold and the temperature is much more tolerable when we get up in the morning. Secondly, before we had the Fireplace Draftstopper, I had our gas fireplace (not the same one that has the plug; we have two fireplaces) going all day to keep the kids warm. I have only turned on the gas fireplace a couple times this week. When I have put the gas fireplace on, I have not had to keep it on for very long and the house heats up much more quickly. Finally, I have noticed that I have felt considerably fewer drafts as I'm tending to things around the house and the entire house seems to have a more even temperature. I am very impressed that I observed a pronounced improvement in the warmth of my home almost immediately. I definitely recommend a Fireplace Draftstopper as an affordable solution if you live in a drafty home like mine!
